Hey guys, Imogen will hopefully be attending the 2018 SXSW Film festival for the world premiere of “Friday’s Child” the day after tomorrow on March 11th, 2018 at the Paramount Theatre in Austin, Texas. Meanwhile we added 2800+ HD screencaps from the 2011 film called Fright Night, where Imogen plays Amy. Inspired by the 1985 film by the same name, Fright Night slowly draws you in by giving you small clues and suddenly changing pace at the peak of suspence. It’s a comedy and gore vampire-themed flick, so if you’re into all of those things, you shouldn’t miss it. Imogen’s part is substantial and she does a great job so you won’t be dissapointed there. The line between fantasy and reality blurs in the first full trailer for I Kill Giants. Based on the popular 2008 graphic novel by Joe Kelly and J.M. Ken Niimura, the film stars The Conjuring 2 star Madison Wolfe as Barbara Thorson, a troubled teenage girl in bunny ears who escapes the difficult realities in her life by retreating into a magical world where she battles monstrous giants. Is she the only one in town who can see the dangerous giants lurking in their midst? Or are dangerous delusions driving her to hurt the people she holds dearest — her new friend Sophia (Sydney Wade), her older sister (Imogen Poots) and her well-meaning school counselor (Zoe Saldana). I Kill Giants premiered at Toronto International Film Festival last year, where it earned strong reviews across the board as a fantasy adventure meets coming-of-age drama. Original writer Joe Kelly returns to pen the screenplay with Anders Walter directing. Check out the first trailer below.

We just learned Imogen will be attending the 2018 Glasgow Film Festival towards the end of this month for her upcoming independent film “Mobile Homes” so we’re excited about that, hopefully it’ll do well. Meanwhile we added 600+ HD screencaps from the 2011 short film called Rule Number Three, where Imogen plays Rachel. The short is intriguing, almost completely silent, focusing mainly on face expressions and awkward silences. It makes you feel like you’re right there with the characters feeling as uncomfortable as them. If you didn’t see it already you should, you can purchase it on Itunes and Amazon. Hi! So it’s been a while since we added photos from Imogen’s movies so we thought we’d add some today. We added 500+ HD screencaps from the 2011 movie called Jane Eyre, where Imogen plays Blanche Ingram. This movie is pretty good, the only downside of it is… there’s really not much Imogen in it. Our theory is she shot a lot of scenes for the film that never made the cut, otherwise she wouldn’t have agreed to be in it, in our opinion. There is only one deleted scene that has been released that features her but in her interviews she refers to her character as Jane’s sophisticated rival who succeeds at making her very jealous throughout the movie but truthfully, she’s in marely four minor scenes (with minimal dialog) only slightly bothering Jane, from a distance. They never even interact! So yes, check it out if period films and romances are your thing but beware, you won’t catch a lot of glimpses of Imogen in it. The film also stars Mia Wasikowska, Michael Fassbender and Jamie Bell. We also added 11 production stills, screencaps from the deleted scenes & making of and a poster. Take a look!

LONDON (AP) — Imogen Poots and James Norton are set to play American newlyweds in Paris in the British premiere of U.S. playwright Amy Herzog’s acclaimed “Belleville”. London’s DonmarWarehouse theater announced Thursday that the play will run Dec. 7-Feb. 3, starring the two British actors and directed by Michael Longhurst.
First produced in 2011, Herzog’s play centers on a young couple — a doctor and an actress — who are apparently living the bohemian dream but whose relationship dramatically unravels. The 250-seat Donmar Warehouse, whose influence outstrips its size, has sent several productions to New York in recent years, including all-female stagings of Shakespeare starring Harriet Walter.
It was confirmed that Bleecker Street has secured the worldwide distribution rights to Riley Stearns’ new dark-comedy “The Art of Self-Defense”. Principal photography on the project began on September 11, 2017, and the film is currently shooting in Kentucky. “The Art of Self-Defense” is produced by End Cue and written and directed by Riley Stearns (FAULTS) and will star Jesse Eisenberg, Imogen Poots and Alessandro Nivola.

The film centers on Casey (Jesse Eisenberg), who is attacked at random on the street and enlists in a local dojo led by a charismatic and mysterious Sensei (Alessandro Nivola), in an effort to learn how to defend himself. What he uncovers is a sinister world of fraternity, violence and hypermasculinity and a woman (Imogen Poots) fighting for her place in it. Casey undertakes a journey, both frightening and darkly funny, that will place him squarely in the sights of his enigmatic new mentor.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled to be working with an exciting filmmaker like Riley,” said Bleecker Street CEO Andrew Karpen. “Ever since we saw his work at Sundance and SXSW we knew we wanted to be in business with him and we can’t wait to bring his original and hilarious vision to audiences around the world.”
“This is a very personal film that happens to have karate in it. I’m lucky to be surrounded by actors, a crew, producers and a distributor like Bleecker Street who care as deeply about the project as I do,” said Stearns.
The film is produced by Andrew Kortschak, Cody Ryder, Stephanie Whonsetler and Walter Kortschak. Karpen is an Executive Producer on the film.
The deal was negotiated by Kent Sanderson of Bleecker Street and Avy Eschenasy on behalf of Bleecker Street. CAA handled negotiations on behalf of the filmmakers. Bleecker Street did not announce a release date for the film, but more information and a few teasers will be released as the film moves along in production.

Four years in the making, French filmmaker Vladimir de Fontenay is finally ready to bring the full force of his award-winning vision to the big screen, thanks to the Directors’ Fortnight premiere of his “Mobile Homes.” Based on his lauded short of the same name (which screened at both the SXSW Film Festival and Clermont-Ferrand Film Festival in 2013, later going on to receive first prize at the Wasserman Awards, NYU Graduate Film School’s top honor, as well as a National Board of Review award), de Fonetnay’s film will bow later this week at Cannes.
Per the film’s official synopsis, “In forgotten towns along the American border, a young mother drifts from one motel to the next with her intoxicating boyfriend and her 8-year-old son. The makeshift family scrapes by, living one hustle at a time, until the discovery of a mobile home community offers an alternative life.”
The film stars Imogen Poots as the young mother, with Callum Turner and Callum Keith Rennie both playing supporting parts (what are the odds of that?). In his official director’s statement, de Fontenay explains the personal experience that informed his creation of both the feature and the short, writing, “A few years ago, I was driving through upstate New York and was passed by a mobile home, towed by a massive truck. On the surface it had the appearance of a home, but below there was nothing to ground it. Moving a lot as a young adult, from France to Italy and then to the US (where I lived and studied), that image immediately resonated with me: it symbolized my fear of becoming uprooted, both free and trapped in something in movement, ungrounded and fragile.”
He continued, “I made a short film about a young mother escaping the dangers of her livelihood with her son in a moving mobile home. I cared deeply about the characters, wondering what was going to happen to them after the film ended. I went back to that image of the mobile home in transit and to this mother/son relationship. I started exploring their life through a feature film. The mobile home itself is emblematic of the development of the characters through their changing relationship to it. It seems particularly relevant to me.”
“Mobile Homes” is premiering in Cannes’ Directors’ Fortnight section later this week, with a world premiere date set for May 21.
